For all of you that use Windows 10 and 11 mail, you will have noticed that there is a slider now at the top right of the screen. Microsoft are phasing out the “Mail” app and replacing it with Outlook for Windows.

The new Outlook for Windows brings the latest features, and a new modern and simplified design to your Outlook app. You can tailor it to your style and do more with new Outlook for Windows!

Important: Most accounts are supported in new Outlook. This includes Microsoft accounts such as an or account, work or school accounts third-party accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo!, iCloud, and other third-party accounts connecting through IMAP.

To try the preview of the new Outlook for Windows, you can slide the Try the new Outlook toggle located in the upper-right corner of your Mail and Calendar or the classic Outlook for Windows applications, then follow the onscreen instructions.

NOTE: You can switch back to your previous experience at any time. Just slide the toggle off and it will automatically open your previous version with no data or email loss.
